I am Navajo of the Tangle People Clan, born for the Red House clan, maternal grandfathers are of the Deer Water clan, and paternal grandfathers are of the Cliff Dweller clan. I was born north of the sacred mountain of the west, Doo'ko'osliid (the San Francisco Peaks).
I am a combat veteran of the Persian Gulf War. I previously served in the Arizona legislature as a Representative and a Senator for this district. I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees at NAU in Flagstaff, and I am currently a student at ASU's Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law. Knowledge of policies and the legislative process is essential for representing Arizona's citizens.

Protect our fundamental rights
Protect social security and healthcare
Lower food and energy costs

Protect reproductive rights
Immigration and humanity

I am committed to civil rights, equity, and justice in Arizona. This includes educating our citizens about living together. Arizona needs a leader who can lead by educating and building bridges.

In 2021, I sponsored the legislation (SB1802) that established August 14th as "Arizona Navajo Code Talkers Day", an official state holiday. My work ensured the recognition of Navajo Code Talkers' contributions to world stability during World War II.

I am one of thousands of federal employees who have lost their jobs. Many in rural Arizona are finding fewer job opportunities in their home communities. Some folks are seeing their homes valued less than they had hoped in prior years. Essentially, their nestegg and savings are dwindling before their eyes. The American Dream seems lost to

Some folks are seeing their homes valued less than they had hoped in prior years. Essentially, their nestegg and savings are dwindling before their eyes. The American Dream seems lost to us. It is not lost; we need to elect people who represent the citizens of our amazing state.
